The second portion of the supply drive for the Butler Humane Society went just as great as the first! We had three different doggies in the studio. It’s great to meet different dog personalities. At home, we have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is just as hyper as he is calm. That means he is insanely hyper when he is not being held, but once you hold him he is calm and falls asleep! The joys of having a lap dog!

The first session of the day was with Lily. Lily is a Labradoodle and is very calm and quite shy of the camera. She did great, amazing what a few treats will do!

Next we had Petey who is a Dachshund and Beagle Mix. Petey is seven months old and was adopted from the Butler Humane Society around six weeks ago. For being in his puppy stage, he is certainly trained well!

Lastly, we had Bailey who is a Cocker Mix. She is adorable and super well behaved. She has such beautiful and expressive eyes and she is a smiley dog!

It’s been a busy day so far at Fleur Photography!  Hosting our first Supply Drive for the Butler Humane Society! This is day one! The next date is this Saturday, March 17th!  I have added some times for that date due to demand, so if you want to sign up please feel free to First come first come basis!!

This morning we had a handsome Welsh Terrier in by the name of Basil! Such a super energetic and fun dog! He loved his treats and his Mommy did a great job of getting him to sit and stay! Here are some images of Basil!

And one of him being silly!

Then we had beautiful Bella in! Bella is a Mini Long Haired Dachshund! Bella was a little shy at first, but she warmed up and did a great job! She likes to be near her Mommy all the time, which is so adorable and fell asleep under one of my chairs during the viewing session. Here are a few of Bella!

Pretty in Purple!

I want to thank all of those who are coming in today and have donated a supply! If you wish to just drop off something, feel free to use the contact form on my site to ask when would be a good time! Last week I photographed Brianna and Lee! They are set to be married on Friday, April 13th this year. Their engagement session took place at Hartwood Acres, in Pittsburgh. That day is was so warm, but so rainy! Not to be deterred by the rain we shot in one of the little breezeways and then took some shots in the rain with an umbrella!

Did you know?

The American Red Cross is part of the world’s largest humanitarian network – 97 million volunteers helping in 186 countries. In this country, the Red Cross helps change lives seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

• 200 times a day, American Red Cross volunteers help a family who has lost everything in a house fire or other disaster.

• 475 times a day, the American Red Cross connects deployed service members with their families.

• 21,000 times a day, a patient receives blood through the American Red Cross blood program.

• 43,000 times a day, someone receives life-saving American Red Cross health, safety and preparedness training.

Imagine how many people the American Red Cross help in just one year. Whether you want to make a donation, volunteer, give blood or become even more involved in responding to disasters, there is always a way to make a difference.

If you live near an area that has recently been devastated by the recent tornadoes I urge you to volunteer.
